Magnum Photos was the first photographic agancy to be founded by photographers themselves, or as Henri Cartier-Bresson described them, by “adventurers with ethics.” Magnum owes its reputation to the talent of its members, who have never swerved from the principles of its founders: solidarity and respect for individuality.
